I'm going to get up.

If you have fallen get up, dust yourself off and start again.

Have you decided you will stand still and remain where you are from now on? You have realized if you fall down and just stay put you can’t fall again? Or have you realized life’s plans are not always as you think they should be? Rather than laying there in a comfortable but going nowhere position you need to get up, dust yourself off and get on the road to tomorrow. Don’t just set there wondering where your life will take you. Get up and start the journey that you want to complete. Shake off the whys, the I can't, the excuses and rid yourself of the guilt that you have fallen. I know the only way to really fall is not to get up and try again. Yesterday is done and there is no need to think,” I should have—I could have, but I didn’t”. What you do today will reflect what you will be tomorrow. Walk with your head up, your eyes on your goal, your heart full of happiness your body ready for change and your mind full of determination, commitment, dedication, and you will soon see victory. Rid yourself of worry, regret, temptation, pessimism, anger, complaining and excuses.
Believe in yourself and walk to your new journey knowing you deserve the best and you are worth it. You are worth the healthy foods, you deserve time to exercise and you will be the best you can be. Just a few changes in the mind and the body will follow.

Two Wolves

An elder Cherokee Native American was teaching his grandchildren about life. He said to them, "A fight is going on inside me..., it is a terrible fight and it is between two wolves. "One wolf represents fear, anger, envy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority and ego.

"The other stands for joy, peace, love, hope, sharing, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, friendship, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion, and faith. "This fight is going on inside you, and inside every other person, too."

The children thought about it for a minute and then one child asked "Which wolf will win, grandfather?"

The old Cherokee simply replied... "The one you feed."

I'm going to fight for it.

Just how bad do you want to reach your goal?
Bad enough to fight or just set and wish?

Wishing for the pounds to melt
Wishing for a smaller belt
Wishing you had done this or that
Wishing your body wasn’t fat.

Wishing the flab would go away
Wishing you looked great today
Wishing the scales told a lie
Wishing you didn’t set and cry

Sorry but wishing is not what it takes

You go to get mad and fight
You got to prepare your food just right
You got to get that junk out of sight
You got to want it with all your might.

You got to tone and exercise
You got to shop for a smaller size
You got to drink that H2O
You go to learn to say thanks but NO

Do all this and what will you will see
Looking in the mirror it a brand new me.
